not a lot to post about, other than my first born is going to kindergarten!! what!? on thrusday!! what?! i can't handle it! ok i can't even talk about it, maybe later.
here are a few random pics from my few weeks off of blogging...
this is my BFF, she lives in MN, we used to be blonde together all through high school. we just can't get our hair right now, i'm brown she's blonde, she's brown, i'm blonde. she can't cut her hair for a while now, cause when we turn 30 were chopping it together...in LA. also we always have the same wardrobe, shocker were both wearing red in this pic. and sometimes she'll come into town and see me and say, "i seriously had that same outfit on this morning."
this is my sis in law julie (we have the same name, even middle) we went to a cold and wet miranda lambert concert last night, miranda's so BA! and here's julie eating deep fried butter! and sara being so funny!
I had wavy hair one day and ryder wanted to comb my hair, he was so proud he wanted to take a picture, so here that is, i look so gross, but he's sweet!

DIY Christmas
i know it sounds silly to talk about christmas in july, but i want to do christmas crafts, and i have absolutely no time to do them around christmas. so i thought, what better time to do them than in july, with my kids, in 110 degree weather! so i picked a few i've been wanting to do and did them, here is one...
**in regards to the 'empty nester' comments, they have a life too! there, are you happy dad?? he called and complained to me last night about my comment. i kinda felt like the commercial, where the kids are back at home and the parents are out having a ton of fun, and the kids are thinking their parents have no life. no intentions on offending anyone, just wanted to state the joy my kids bring to my life! love you all!

"You have no life!"
you say, "whoa what kinda post header phrase is that?" i say, one that a man has said to me lately. i recently went to my 10yr reunion, and it was really fun to see my old friends, whom i haven't really kept up with, which i really regret, because it reminded me that i had great friends in my life then. moving along...some people asked how many kids i had, and i told them three, and this one guy, whom married a girl that i went to school with, said, "wow! you have no life!" kinda sarcastically and arrogantly. (i don't know this man, he's probably really cool, and i love the girl he's married too, i'm more just irritated by that comment than him) i feel like i handled myself pretty good kinda shrugged it off, it was awkward. my blood wasn't boiling like it would of 5yrs ago. i just feel like he doesn't understand. so to that man with the beer in his hand, i'll help you understand!
i do have a life. i'm up and ready around 6:30-7...no biggie. i cook breakfast every morning, clean up the crap that was thrown on the floor from breakfast, bleach a pee'd toilet, sweep the floor 3x's a day, change poopy diapers, do laundry, brush my kids' teeth, wipe their butts, get them dressed for the day and for bed, smell brown spots to see if it's chocolate or poop, clean up spilled milk, mop, dust, keep them from hitting each other, i get hit in the head with balls, jumped on, woke up at 2 in the morning because they had a scary dream, make dinner, make lunch, i don't getta go out all the time with the hubby, or with friends, i getta clean up puke, etc. etc.
i also, get called the best mom on planet earth, get told 'i love you' randomly throughout the day, get kisses all the time (from hubby and kiddos), told the funniest 3 and 5 yr old jokes, have to break up fights because they are saying their mom is better than your mom (their both talking about me!) get to read the Bible to them, get the best hugs, during those scary nights, i get to snuggle with them and sing to them, get to go to parks and tan while they play, i get high fives throughout the day, i get to stare at them and understand how we are wonderfully made, i learn and teach my self so much about the fruits of the spirit (mainly self control.), i feel so blessed every day that i get to stay home with my children.

both pro's and con's are pretty even. but if you listen to both of them one has more meaning, more depth, more passion, more accomplishment. that is what i focus on and what my life is all about. maybe it will be ok to say this to me when i'm an empty nester, that's when you can say i have no life.

pink/peach sparkle tassels
i love this! i admired these on other blogs and just had to have one, but not pay $150 for one. this tassel garland i made was about mmm...$0. i had everything! i'm a freak about tissue paper...i'm the one at parties/showers/christmas on the floor straightening and folding the tissue paper! so i had a lot of different colors, and i already had the rope, so i thought why not try it. i think it turned out ok, if i do another one, i may have a few changes, but here's a little step by step, and the final...
